There are times when life presents challenges that can make us feel cornered, dissatisfied, or unable to cope. I am passionate about helping people navigate these challenges, heal, and grow as individuals, couples and families.

Who We Are

OUR APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults and elders in the contexts of individual, couples and family therapy and offer support groups. I also offer Clinical Consultation/Supervision for those seeking licensure. I truly love this work, and I am privileged to have the opportunity to meet people as they face difficult circumstances, and to witness positive growth and change.

Establishing a trusting and comfortable relationship with your therapist is imperative to growth and progress. If my therapeutic style or expertise is not right for you, I am happy to provide appropriate referrals.

I believe therapy can be useful for most people at one time or another and that therapy is, most often, temporary. I am committed to helping you work through difficult issues, enhance internal and relational strengths. In early sessions, we will tailor our goals and therapeutic focus to your current needs and circumstances, and reassess progress and goals throughout the process.

COUPLES THERAPY

Couples therapy is a form of psychological therapy used to treat relationship distress for both individuals and couples. The purpose of couple’s therapy is to restore a better level of functioning in couples who experience relationship distress.

FAMILY THERAPY

Family systems therapy, and family counseling, is a branch of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development.

We Can Help

Entering into therapy can sometimes seem overwhelming. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to answer any questions about therapy and to assess whether I am a fit for your particular situation and needs.

I also offer In-Home sessions when coming to the office is challenging (limitations and additional fees apply). Please feel free to contact me anytime with any questions you may have or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
